Now, to the fun stuff. Butterfly Reflections Ink is hosting a sweet challenge in honor of National Scrapbook Day! It's open to all, any kind of papercrafting project, and if you link it up, you can enter for a chance to win $20 gift certificate to her awesome store! She's taken my wallet this past month, seriously! I love everything she carries. :-)

Isn't it GORGEOUS? Oh those colors, those pictures... the moment I saw macarons, I knew which set to play with! I made TWO cards!
The first one features Altenew sets Doodle Blooms and Halftone Thanks. I stamped a bunch of flowers in gold dye ink, colored with Copic markers, and then heat embossed over it in gold. The "thanks" was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed in coral embossing powder from Stampin' Up. It's sooo pretty!
The second card features Avery Elle's Bonjour set. Oh it's just so SWEET! I kinda wish I had macarons in the picture. I actually tried them for the first time last week! They look beautiful, but are too sweet for me to have often! My favorite was pistachio flavored. This one was easy to make as well. I heat embossed the long border pattern in gold [I'm loving my gold embossing powder!] All the macarons were stamped in Hero Arts inks and then the macaron outline was stamped over it in VersaMark and heat embossed in gold. Then I used the dies to cut them out. The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink stamp set... it was also heat embossed in coral.
I sure hope you play along this weekend! Here's the link to the mood board challenge and there's also a sketch challenge! Have a great weekend!!! I'm going to go spend time with my mom and then study tonight.
These are so sweet!
