Hear Me Roar FWF

I love Unity Stamp Co.'s empowering women stamp set. It's one of my favorite. It's hard trying to plan a card together, especially with the collection I've got now and all my patterned paper calling to me. If you want to share, I'd love to know how you plan out cards in advance. My craft journal has ideas, but it feels like information overload. And I really need to focus on readings this year since it's a significant year in the program. I find myself bouncing back and forth, thinking about social work and then crafting, lol. Both have become important to me. Thank you so much for your comments, and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Strength & Dignity FWF

I feel like I'm always in a rush, needing to get somewhere. Once again, I can't write a full entry but wanted to enter Friday with Flair :) Another card for another good friend, and I'm blessed with many of those! I'm sorry, I'll try to make my entries more detailed next time. School started this week so I'm trying to adjust to the new schedule as well... thanks so much for visiting and commenting. It really makes me happy. ♥

Beautiful FWF / SSS Anything goes

Encouraging/uplifting sentiments are so necessary, and true friends appreciate kind words. I made this card for a dear friend of mine. Hope things get better for those experiencing challenging times. I'm entering this in this week's Unity Stamp Company's Friends With Flair as well as Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes challenge. Now that I'm back from vacation, I have lots of craft e-mails/entries to catch up on. Everyone's creations are inspirational :)

Harmony FWF

Finally had a chance to use Harmony Girl! Sometimes there are so many stamps, one doesn't know where to start. I was also really excited to use my new Prismacolor Premier Watercolor Pencils to color in the girl. I made three of these cards, one of which ended up being similar to this month's {be inspired} challenge colors. :) For this week's FWF, I chose these two. First I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then I masked it so I could stamp the girl over it (also with black embossing powder). One card is with the Stormy Sky Distress Ink in the background and the other I left it white. Then I added some speckles for a rainy look. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else shares!

Thank you all for your beautiful comments on my last two posts. I really do appreciate them. I was soooo happy that I won last week's Friends with Flair! It was the first time I ever won any contest! :D

Today, I'm sharing a simple card I made for a dear friend of mine. I love the Strength & Dignity kit from Unity Stamp Co., and it was one of the first ones I ordered from them. Can't wait to see what everyone else shares today! Have a great weekend :)

1st Friends With Flair
