I have two cards that use both sets. For the first card, I wanted to try some masking. I die-cut a rectangle and temporarily taped it down the center of a white cardstock. Using Mama Elephant pigment inks, I stamped random assortment of the florals and stems from Mini Wild Florals. I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment from I Got You in black dye ink. I wanted to add some layers and texture so I dry embossed a white A2 piece of cardstock using a triangles embossing folder. I glued to it to a cardbase and added a pink and gold doily on top. I added cute gold trim and a heart paper clip, which was glued down with a tiny zots bling.
For my second card, I wanted to try watercoloring again. I was inspired by a floral pattern I saw online and gave it my best shot. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Wild Peonies set with VersaMark on watercolor paper. I took one of the small flowers from Mini Wild Florals and stamped it wherever there was space. I heat embossed it all with white embossing powder. Using Altenew inks in Coral Berry and Warm Sunshine, I watercolored the larger flowers. The leaves were watercolored with Evergreen ink. Once that was dry, I watercolored the background with Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers. I decided to leave the small flowers as they were. I watercolored a piece of white cardstock, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. I die-cut it out and added it to the card with foam tape. As you can see, I added a matching envelope. I die-cut yellow pattern paper to create an envelope liner and glued it inside of a white envelope.
I am getting more comfortable with watercoloring details. I am not great at it, but I know I can continue to practice to get better.
