Uplifting Notecards

I'm sharing a small project with you today. When I first got The Ton's Get It Girl and Mini Wild Florals, I thought of creating notecards for friends. These are perfect to give as a gift set or even insert with handmade cards. Let me walk you through the steps of how I created these so you can create them, too! It's so simple. Who wouldn't want one of these, right?

I used the center die from Lil Inker Designs Stitched Mats: Dual-Stitched Dies to cut out 8 of these cards. I stamped all the sentiments first with a black dye ink and then the florals with Altenew and Papertrey Ink ink pads.

Then I placed all of the cards in one of these laminating pockets and ran it through my laminator

I used my paper trimmer to cut around the cards. Look how bright and wonderful they look! Receiving these kinds of notecards would totally make my day. Here's a closer look:

I am sure that you can even create light backgrounds and then stamp the sentiment or even heat emboss it on top before laminating. There are so many different ways you can do these, including watercoloring, too!

I wanted to share how I send my happy mail. The cards below were ones I posted last week for The Ton during their release week. You can insert a notecard with a card such as I will below.

Lately I've been inserting one of these "I Am That Girl" quotes with some of the cards I've sent out. I think it's a beautiful reminder to have. This is going to a dear friend, too.

So what do you think? Is this something you will try? If you are inspired by this post, be sure to link to me and let me know what you create! I love being inspired and inspiring others!

  3. These are really cute. I like that you laminated them, you can tuck them into your wallet, sometimes it's nice to have that little reminder.
