I love Unity Stamp Co.'s empowering women stamp set. It's one of my favorite. It's hard trying to plan a card together, especially with the collection I've got now and all my patterned paper calling to me. If you want to share, I'd love to know how you plan out cards in advance. My craft journal has ideas, but it feels like information overload. And I really need to focus on readings this year since it's a significant year in the program. I find myself bouncing back and forth, thinking about social work and then crafting, lol. Both have become important to me. Thank you so much for your comments, and I hope you all have a great weekend!
This is being entered in today's Friends With Flair as well as Viva la Verve's September Challenge, using week 3 sketch.
Great card. I love this little lady and the sentiments are fab. HugzReplyDelete
What a powerful message on your card!ReplyDelete
Wow, this is beautiful and inspirational. For me, I begin starting with the occasion then the person it is for and then going to the stamps most fitting for them. It takes me as much time figuring that out as it does making the card, lol.ReplyDelete
Beautiful card. I like that you showed the inside of the card.ReplyDelete
Wonderful card and sentiments! I'm a cardmaker of convenience, i.e. grabbing whatever supplies are closest at hand and throwing something together!ReplyDelete
love that pattern paper.ReplyDelete

This card is empowering! Love it! I feel this way too at times...so many stamps, so much paper, not enough time (LOL).ReplyDelete

This is a beautiful -- and meaningful -- card! I have to admit, I often start making a card with very little plan at all! I just let it evolve... ;)ReplyDelete
